Heather Wolterink graduated from Hope College  with a BA in  elementary education/learning disabilities.  She then earned her Early Childhood Developmental Delay endorsement from Grand Valley State University. Heather taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades for 8 years in Michigan, Vermont and Illinois before staying home to raise her three children, now ages 19,17 and 14.  Heather served as the Preschool Coordinator at First Presbyterian Preschool for 6 years and then returned to teaching in the public schools in 2009.  She is currently in her 4th year working as Central's ECSE teacher.  Heather resides in Holland, MI with her husband, children and two dogs and enjoys the beach, boating and gardening.
