Mr. Vaandering teaches first grade at Central Elementary. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from GVSU, where he was honored with the Outstanding Student in Education Award. He was also honored with the Outstanding Thesis Award. He is a member of the Building Leadership Team and the District Improvement Team, and he serves as lead for the Central Elementary Communications Committee.
